 Another Chance

All my family has gone away

My friends,

Well,

Some are hanging on, 

But,

To tell the truth,

By barely a tread.

Some would say sad,

But,

If you were me,

Scary would be more like it.

It’s natural, of course,

Ageing,

Growing old,

Affects us all.

With no way back, we

Trudge on

Bravely facing,

What lies ahead?

Some would say,

Heaven, or

Hell, but

My choice would be

Reincarnation,

Another me,

Another dimension,

Another chance to,

As some would say,

To turn left,

Instead of right.
