WAS GOD THINKING

Violence, and demonstrations have erupted all over the USA because of the death of a black man at the hands of the police. Demonstrations, so far peaceful, have erupted here in Canada.

I wrote this….

WAS GOD THINKING

The world,

it’s such a mess.

Instead of better, 

we’re accomplishing less.

Hatred runs rampant,

love’s gone away.

Black, white, red, or yellow,

straight,

or gay,

what’s to say.

No one is satisfied,

more is the game,

a dangerous,

very,

very,

dangerous game.

Is there a solution?

It won’t go away, and

without a solution,

what reason to stay.

Violence,

mayhem,

chaos at best.

No sense in running,

as no place is best.

Flames on the horizon,

smoke in the air,

nobody, 

simply nobody. 

cares.

What was God thinking

when giving us air.

All knowing, but

without any care.

An experiment,

a throw of the dice,

with no winners,
.........I fear.
